Alteração publicada em dezembro foi oficializada nesta segunda-feira (08/01). O parque se beneficiou da doação de bens imóveis originados de compensação de licenciamento ambiental.
O WikiParques é um projeto da Associação O Eco, a mesma ONG e a mesma equipe responsável pela publicação do site ((o))eco, de jornalismo ambiental. O apoio para desenvolvê-lo é da Fundação Grupo Boticário de Proteção à Natureza.
